The show at the Toast Collective last Friday was awesome — the room was silent for Role Mach who played mostly xylophones and a little guitar. The last time I can remember that intimate of a show was Pete Samples at the old Chez Nous Ballroom in May last year. After Role Mach finished up, Torgat took the stage and tore up the room like only the french know how to do.

Great composition, drumming, organs, moogs, french horns with big muff pedals and some free-jazz style tribal beats – it was a night to remember. Hopefully we’ll get them in a bigger venue next time, but I think everything was perfect this time around.

Here are some pictures of the night (by Missy Shana and Carter Gilchrist.) If you weren’t there check out Torngat somewhere else on their tour

If you have any photos or videos from the night, please leave a comment or let us know so we can post them and get them out there. See you at the next show!
