Chez Nous Presents

Thanks to everyone that came out to the Biltmore for Smooth Sailing on Friday night, it was a huge success and I hope everyone had as much fun as we did! All 12 bands were phenomenal and they made the night run like clockwork. The Margaritas and Piña Coladas were drained, the Toast Collective hosted a great after party, and nobody drowned as far as I’m aware. At the end of the night we had about 100 votes in the ballot box which was more than enough to tally up the winners (keep reading to find out who they are.)

Rah Rah is coming back to Vancouver! If you missed the Reginans at the Railway Club back in June, now’s your chance to see them! Accompanied by the talented Red Cedar (who recently finished up the night at Smooth Sailing). Kicking it off will be another local Vancouver band, Yukon Blonde. See you there!

This is probably going to be the most anticipated event of your summer. 12 local Vancouver bands will be gracing the Biltmore stage performing 2-3 song cover sets of really smooth music (yacht rock). Think: Toto, Kenny Loggins, Hall & Oates, Chicago, Christopher Cross… the list goes on and on (and on and on and on). Here are the 12 bands that will have you swimming in smoothness on August 28th (in no particular order):
